Ok back around March I believe our Shire was hosting an event called Haire Affaire....It was the first event that I was co-autocrating and I wanted to make something new so I started to sew a Viking apron dress....

We had just moved into my sisters house due to financial problems, and so my niece was ever present shyly and sometimes noisily watching...She is six after all and hardly can sit still or be silent...

So while I was working on my garb she smies with full dimples and says, "Oh I wish I had a princess dress...Think you can make me one."

Me not really paying attention says sure.....

I then head out to An Tir for a while then to Texas only arriving back a month ago...

Now sister is Christmas shopping and tells me what is on the list...A princess dress....Apparently the whole time I was gone the niece has been asking when I was gunna make her dress....So feeling bad I told them I would have it made by Christmas...We went to Joann's last night and I picked up some pink fabric that I hid two days ago (yes I was thinking of making something for her anyways cuz hey the fabric was on clearance...

We get the pattern, the fabric, the zipper though may try to talk them into a lace up back, and the trim and notions...

We get home and I pre-wash the fabric and glance over the pattern....Oh crap what have I gotten myself into....
